Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus has been beta testing the Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 for months. The beta testing on the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro began in mid-June. The company has started rolling out the stable version of OxygenOS 11 to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro customers. In this OnePlus OxygenOS 11 update tracker, we will be tracking which devices have received the beta/stable versions.
The OxygenOS 11 update brings a bunch of new features along with stability improvements. There is a new UI design that automatically adapts to the time of the day, which you can choose from the Settings. If you enable it, Dark Mode will activate automatically at sunset. Other features include an Always-on Ambient Display and five new themes for Zen Mode.
OnePlus has also improved the Game Space feature. It now has Quick-Reply functions to reply to WhatsApp and Instagram messages.

Samsung's One UI 3.0 Android 11 beta program kicked off last week. South Korea was the first market where the beta was opened up to the general public. It had previously been available only for developers in the United States and South Korea. The company is gradually going to make the beta.
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro customers have either received the update or will receive it in the next few days. You need to have at least 30% battery and 3GB of free storage before installing the update. Early OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro users who have updated to the stable version of OxygenOS 11 have reported several bugs and issues. OnePlus will likely fix them in a future update.
